Fabric flame, plug-in, outdoor

Five feet of fire and nothing to put out

A flat black metal box, two rows of LEDs, and a strip of red fabric that stands in for the flame. Set it low on the front lawn and it puts a fire glow at the base of the house without the neighbors reaching for a hose. Plugs into a standard outlet and is built for outdoor use.

Fabric, not plastic

The flame is a length of red fabric, not a molded plastic tongue painted orange. Lit from the two LED rows along the top of the box, it reads as fire from the curb instead of a lamp shade shaped like one.

Cord, not batteries

It ships with a standard three-prong cord. Run it to the porch outlet or an outdoor extension and it stays lit as long as it is plugged in, which is more than most battery props manage past nine.

The box disappears

The housing is flat black with a vented front and small feet, so it sits low and vanishes once the sun drops. What the street sees is the fire, not the fixture. After October it does campfire duty at a party or on a stage.

Cindervale Flame Light, closer in

Built for outdoors

Halloween night, and the morning after

Plug it in at dusk, set it where the placement guide says, and let it burn until the last porch light on the block goes off. Next morning, unplug, fold the fabric flat, and the whole thing goes back in its box on a shelf until next year, or until the next party needs a campfire.

  • Five feet of flame that never needs putting out
  • Fabric folds flat and the box stores it upright
  • Works as a campfire once Halloween is over
How tall is it?

Five feet, standing on its own small feet. There is no stake to drive and no bracket to fit.

Is there a real flame?

No. The flame is a strip of red fabric lit from two rows of LEDs along the top of the box. Nothing burns and nothing has to be put out.

Does it run on batteries?

No. It has a standard three-prong cord and plugs into a household outlet, so it stays lit as long as it is plugged in.

Do I need an extension cord?

Usually yes. Plan on an outdoor-rated extension cord from the porch outlet out to wherever you set it on the lawn.

Can it stay outside?

It is built for outdoor use. Set it on level ground where water does not pool, and bring it in when the season is over.

Will it read from the street?

It is bright enough to read through streetlight glare. A placement guide comes in the box with the distances that work on a lit block.
