Set of 14, galvanized, outdoor

The hardware that keeps the scene standing in a gust

Fourteen galvanized steel wire tensioners, each one a folded steel body with a threaded bolt through the middle and a single mounting hole at the flat top tab. Run your guy line through, screw the bolt down, and the slack disappears. They live at the stake end of the props, out of frame and under the mulch.

Tension you can dial in

The bolt through the middle is the whole point: thread it down and the line goes tight, then stays tight. The wire pins that came with your props fold in a gust and let the prop lean.

Fourteen anchor points in one box

Enough to tie down the tall pieces, the fence run and the tarp line in a single pass across the lawn. No trip to the hardware store on the afternoon before the big night.

Galvanized, so it survives the season

The zinc coating means rain and morning dew do not leave an orange stub in the grass. The threads still turn when you pull them out next fall.

Built for outdoors

Invisible from the sidewalk, load-bearing all night

On Halloween night nobody on the sidewalk looks at these. They look at a display that is still upright when the last group comes through. In November you back the bolts off and fourteen pieces of hardware go into the tote instead of the trash. Standard shipping runs 5 to 7 days.

How many come in the kit?

Fourteen. That is enough to tie down the tall pieces, the fence run and the tarp line in a single pass across the lawn, instead of rationing hardware on the afternoon before the big night.

What is each one, exactly?

A folded galvanized steel body with a threaded bolt through the middle and a single mounting hole in the flat top tab. Run your guy line through, screw the bolt down, and the slack disappears.

Do these replace my stakes?

No — they work with them. The tensioner lives at the stake end of the line and takes up the slack; the stake is still what holds the ground. Pair them with a stake kit if your props shipped with bent wire pins.

Will they rust through October?

They are zinc-coated, so rain and morning dew do not leave an orange stub in the grass, and the threads still turn when you pull them out next fall.

Do they show from the street?

No. They sit at the stake end, out of frame and under the mulch. Nobody on the sidewalk looks at these — they look at a display that is still upright when the last group comes through.

How do they come down?

Back the bolts off and fourteen pieces of hardware go into the tote rather than the trash.
