Four black spotlights on ground spikes, each head set with LEDs behind a clear lens and a flat panel angled off the back. The beams come out in color — magenta, acid green, deep blue. Push them into the grass along the walk, at the base of the porch, or under a tree.
The spike puts the head near ground level, so the beam skims the grass instead of pointing at the sky. Run a fogger past it and the whole cone shows up from the sidewalk.
Most yard lights wash out under a pole light and the front of the house goes flat. These stay bright enough to read through that glare, so the color still lands on the siding.
