What it looks like at night

Seen from the front steps at night, the porch lit only by her eyes and the staff
Daylight
Lit pink among jack-o-lanterns on the steps, on Halloween night
After dark
She watches the porch steps, pink light behind her eyes before anyone gets close.
Say something near her and she answers back, her mouth catching the word mid-line.
Four small studies of her head mid-line, cycling through different words she can answer to.
Two studies of her turning head with a motion arrow between them, showing the head-turn movement.
Close macro of her weathered face, both eyes holding a steady solid pink glow.
The carved bone skull on top of her staff, cut out on a pale ground, one eye glowing pink.
Studio macro of her cauldron with pink smoke curling up, her hand reaching over the rim.
Her head cut out on a pale ground with a violet audio waveform rising from her open mouth.
She stands cut out on a pale ground with a soft violet sensor arc sweeping in front of her.
Studio macro of her plug-in power adapter and cord resting beside the hem of her robe.
She stands beside a simple porch-roof icon and a crossed-out raincloud, marking indoor or covered use only.
She stands beside a plain front door with a thin measurement line marking her height to the top of her hood.
Close crop of her torn grey burlap robe layered over a dark underrobe, frayed at the hems.
Close night crop of her grey hair streaked with pink and white, falling past the hood.
Night macro of a small skeleton owl perched on a stone near her feet, lit by a faint pink spill.
Simple icons of a volume dial and a speaker jack, her figure cut out small and out of focus behind them.
She stands mid-setup at night beside a simple violet clock graphic showing a short elapsed time.
She stands over a staged porch display with jack-o-lanterns and fog, her pink glow the one cool light in the scene.
Wide night shot of her glowing pink on an otherwise dark porch, the only light left on.
Her robe folded flat into a black slide-out storage tray on a pale studio ground.
Flat line-art panel: a shipping carton, a map of the United States and a calendar page, with the delivery windows.
Flat line-art panel: an open cardboard box with a curved return arrow looping back into it.
Spec sheet: she stands cut out on the left, a five-row table on the right with height, width, power, use and set-up time.
She stands centred on a clean pale background, staff raised, ready to order.
Does she really talk back?

Yes — conversation-response technology with thirty lines, keyed to what you say near her: love, money, power or luck. It is not a random sound loop; the line she picks depends on the word she catches.

What powers her?

She plugs into a standard wall outlet through the included 5.9V adapter — no batteries required. A battery adapter is available separately if you need to run her somewhere without an outlet.

Can I put her out on the open lawn?

No. She is built for indoor use or a covered porch, out of direct weather — the fabric and electronics are not rated for open-air exposure the way a groundbreaker or a lawn skeleton is.

How tall is she?

69 inches at her tallest point — five feet nine — measured to the top of her hood. Check the clearance under your porch roofline before you decide where she stands.

How long does setup take?

About ten minutes. Unfold the robe from the slide-out tray, seat the staff in her hand, and plug her into the wall.

What does she actually do?

Her head turns and her jaw moves in time with every line. Her eyes and the skull on her staff glow solid pink, and underneath the voice runs a bubbling cauldron, a frog, insects and an owl call.

How does she pack away?

She folds back down into her own slide-out repacking tray — no separate box to find room for in the garage.

What if she does not work out?

Send her back within thirty days, unopened or standing on the porch, same return window either way.

She actually answers you

I said 'money' near her just to test it and she came back with a full line about it, head turning toward me the whole time. My neighbor jumped back off the step.

The eyes carry the whole porch

We turned off our porch light entirely. Her eyes and the staff are the only light out there now, and it reads better than any spotlight we tried before.

Good volume once you find the dial

She was almost too quiet out of the box for a two-story porch. There is a volume dial on the cord — once I turned it up she carries to the sidewalk fine.

The cauldron detail sells it

It is a small thing but her hand actually sits inside the cauldron rim and the smoke curls right up past her fingers. Kids kept asking what was actually in there.

Packs down smaller than I expected

The tray she folds back into is not much bigger than a suitcase. Whole thing lives on a garage shelf now instead of a giant box.

Read the covered-porch part first

I almost put her at the end of the driveway before I read the manual. She belongs under the roofline. Moved her back and she has been fine every night since.

Great witch, speaker jack caught me off guard

She looks and sounds great right out of the box, but I wanted to run her through an outdoor speaker for a bigger yard party and the jack needs a cable that is not included. Not a big deal once I ordered one, but worth knowing ahead of time. Everything else about her, from the head turn to the staff light, has worked exactly as advertised since day one.

First thing people see now

She stands right by the door and every trick-or-treater stops for her before they even ring the bell. Ten minutes to set up and she has been the centerpiece of the porch ever since.
