How tall is it, really, and will it clear my porch roof?

145.67 inches from the ground to the top of the stem — just over 12 feet. That is taller than most porch eaves, so it belongs on open lawn, a driveway or a garden bed rather than under a low roofline.

How long does setup take?

It self-inflates in a few minutes once the adapter is plugged in. Stake the base, run the tie-down ropes, drop the sandbags in place, and it is standing on its own — no tools, no pump to run by hand.

Can I leave it up overnight, or run it in rain and wind?

It is built for outdoor use and stays lit overnight off the one cord. It is not rated to run through heavy rain or a storm — bring it down when the weather turns and stake it back out once it clears.

What actually comes in the box?

The figure, a 12V adapter, ground stakes, tie-down ropes and anti-tip sandbags. Nothing extra to buy before the first night it goes up.

Can I use it on a covered porch instead of the open lawn?

Yes. It is built for outdoor use but sits as well on a covered porch or patio as it does staked into grass, as long as there is room for the full 12-foot height and the 81.89-inch reach of the arms.

How many lights does it actually have?

118 total — 3 LEDs built into the head and torso plus a 115-count string wound through the ribs and legs. Everything runs off the single adapter; there is no separate dimmer or zone switch.

How does it store for next season?

Unplug it, let the fan empty it out, and it folds down to about the size of a bed pillow. At 8.6 lb it goes back on a shelf without needing a second person to carry it.

When does it arrive?

Five to seven business days from the US, or three to four on express.

Bigger than I expected, in a good way

Measured my porch before I ordered and it still surprised me once it was up — the head alone is taller than my front door. Neighbors two doors down asked about it before any other decorations went up.

The ribs actually glow, not just the outline

I expected a flat printed skeleton. The string lights run right through the ribs, so at night it reads as lit from inside, not just outlined.

Read the storm warning before you plug it in

It came with a clear note not to run it in heavy rain, which I almost skipped. Brought it down twice during a windy week and it was fine every other night.

Stakes and sandbags, not just stakes

Every inflatable I've owned before shipped with stakes and nothing else. This one has tie-down ropes and sandbags too, and it hasn't leaned once.

Up in under ten minutes

Unzipped it, staked the base, plugged in the adapter, and it was standing before I'd finished setting up the rest of the yard.

Wish the cord reached a little further

It reaches my nearest outlet fine, but if your porch outlet sits far from the lawn, plan on an outdoor extension cord.

Folds back into a box smaller than I thought

Deflated it in November and it went back into a bag about the size of a pillow — nowhere near the shelf space my old inflatable took.

The face is what sells it

Plenty of pumpkin inflatables just sit there smiling. This one has red eyes lit from inside and claws reaching out, so it actually looks like it's coming at you.
