A 6-foot hooded skeleton parked behind a gothic cathedral DJ booth, red headphones on, one bony hand up and the other resting on the turntable. Walk past and the head wakes up. The stand is a gothic cathedral front: red stained-glass windows, quatrefoil tracery and two blue-lit spires with crosses on top. It comes up to the reaper's waist and carries its own glow, so the street sees a lit-up church front before it sees the skull.
Standard 120V plug, no battery packs to hunt for at 9 p.m. on the 31st. Run an outdoor-rated extension cord out to it, tuck the cord under the mulch, and it keeps working from dusk until you decide the night is over.
