Thirteen feet from the base to the top of the head, which is taller than most single-story roof lines. Plan for open lawn, not a porch corner — the raised arm alone swings out past a doorway. Most people put it on the front lawn a few feet off the walkway so the height reads from the street.
One head has a calm, friendly painted expression; the other has a wider, more dramatic one. Both snap onto the same neck joint, so swapping takes under a minute — people tend to run the friendly face for trick-or-treat hours and the dramatic one for the rest of the season.
The head turns and the jaw moves while it plays through a short tune, and the color-changing LEDs along the head and chest shift through their cycle. It resets a few seconds after motion stops, ready to trigger again for the next person who walks up.
Yes — it is built for the yard, with weather-resistant fabric over a powder-coated metal frame and a sealed control box at the base. Stake it down in open wind the same way you would any tall lightweight yard prop; it is not rated for standing water or being submerged.
About 40 minutes, and it goes faster with two people — the torso is light but awkward to hold upright alone while the base bolts on. It arrives in labeled sections: base, leg poles, torso, both arms, both heads and the power adapter, all pre-wired.
It plugs into a standard outdoor-rated outlet with the included 10-foot cord — no batteries. If your spot is farther than that from an outlet, a standard outdoor extension cord is all you need.
There is a dial on the control box at the base, so you can run it at background level for a quiet street or turn it up for a yard that's already loud with other props.
Five to seven business days from the US, three to four on express. It breaks back down into the same labeled sections it arrived in, so it goes back in its box on November 1st instead of taking up a closet fully assembled.

Cars slow down on our street now. Thirteen feet sounds big on paper but it is bigger in person — it clears our roofline by a couple feet. Worth clearing the whole side yard for it instead of trying to fit it by the door.
I run the calm face during the day when the school bus comes by and swap to the dramatic one after dark. Takes maybe thirty seconds once you know the twist-lock. My kids argue over which one is scarier.
Everything else was straightforward but the torso piece is long and top-heavy before it is bolted to the base — doable alone but you will be bracing it with your knee. With a second person it was five minutes, tops.
We had two nights of 20-plus mph gusts and it just swayed a little at the neck, nothing alarming. Staked the base extra with our own ground stakes since it did not come with any, and it has not budged since.
We are on a corner lot and neighbors two streets over have mentioned seeing it lit up at night. The color-changing LEDs on the head carry a lot farther than I expected for something battery-free.
Out of the box it is loud enough for a block party. There is a dial on the control box and once I brought it down two notches it sits at a level our actual quiet cul-de-sac is fine with.
This was my deciding factor after a giant inflatable I owned before never went back in its bag right. Every piece here has a labeled slot in the tray, so November 1st is a fifteen-minute job instead of a fight with cardboard.
We have the usual mix of inflatables and 6-foot skeletons on our block and this is a different category entirely. It is the one thing every trick-or-treater points at before they even reach the driveway.
