Static figure, indoor-outdoor

The 2007 Myers, mask cracked and coveralls grimy, standing on the porch

A 9-inch collector figure of Michael Myers from Rob Zombie's 2007 Halloween. He doesn't move and he doesn't mind the weather. Set him on the porch rail or next to the candy bowl and let the trick-or-treaters work out who he is from the sidewalk.

The Rob Zombie mask, not the classic one

This is the Rob Zombie version: the mask is yellowed and cracked with the seams showing, and the hair is brown and matted. If the neighbor across the street has the classic Myers on his porch, this is how people tell the two apart from the curb.

The grime is painted on

The coveralls are a dirty tan with a dark wash sitting in every fold, the chest name patch is smudged past reading, and the boots look like they came out of a ditch. Nothing on him reads as clean and new, which is the whole point of this Myers.

Nothing to switch on, nothing to fail

Static figure, made for indoor and outdoor. He holds the knife low at his side, left hand open, and just stands there, which is honestly the correct look. Put him where the porch light lands and go answer the door.

Halloween night, then back on the shelf

On the night he has one job: stand at the top of the steps while the older kids decide whether to come up. Scare level is not for little kids, so keep him at adult eye level and out of the toddler lane. November 1st he goes on a shelf and waits for next year, which is more than most of the yard can say.

  • 9 in tall — shelf or porch rail

How big is it?

Nine inches. It is a figure, not a yard prop — it sits on a porch rail, a shelf or next to the candy bowl, and the people who recognize it do so from the sidewalk anyway.

Which version of the mask is this?

The 2007 Rob Zombie one: yellowed and cracked with the seams showing, brown matted hair. If the neighbor across the street has the classic mask on his porch, this is how people tell the two apart from the curb.

Does it move or make noise?

No. It is a static figure — nothing to switch on and nothing to fail. He holds the knife low at his side with the left hand open and just stands there, which is honestly the correct look.

Can it go outside?

It is made for indoor or outdoor display, so a porch rail under cover is fine. It has no electronics to shield, but it is a painted figure — a full night of driving rain is not what it is for.

Is it appropriate for small children?

No. It is rated not for little kids, so keep it at adult eye level and out of the toddler lane. It is aimed at the older kids who stop at the bottom of the steps to work out who it is.

What does the paint actually look like up close?

The coveralls are a dirty tan with a dark wash sitting in every fold, the chest name patch is smudged past reading, and the boots look like they came out of a ditch. Nothing on him reads as clean and new, which is the whole point of this version.
