Light-up eyes, outdoor, stakes included

The groundbreaker that lights its own eye sockets

A torso-up skeleton on slim ground stakes, 35.75" of white weather-cast shell with black-cut eye sockets and open rib gaps. The eyes glow on their own, so nothing has to be aimed at it. It belongs in the strip of lawn between the sidewalk and the porch.

Staked at a lean, it reads as climbing out

Angle the stakes toward the street and the torso pitches forward instead of sitting flat. From the sidewalk it reads as a body pushing up through the sod, arms out, not a sign in the grass.

The eyes do the lighting

The light-up effect is built into the piece, so there is no fixture to bury, aim or hide. After dark the sockets are the only thing on that side of the yard doing any work.

Weather-cast finish, wet or dry

The shell is cast for weather, so a night of rain leaves it looking the same in the morning. Ground stakes come in the box; if your yard takes real wind, move up to a Ground-Lock kit.

Built for outdoors

November 1, it goes back in the bin

On the night it does one job: hold the lean and glow while the group on the sidewalk decides whether to cut across the lawn. The morning after, pull the stakes, wipe the shell down and it lies flat until next September. Standard shipping runs 5 to 7 days, express 3 to 4.

  • 35.75" tall
  • The sockets glow on their own, nothing to aim
  • Two slim stakes set it leaning toward the street
How tall is it?

35.75 inches from the stakes up. That is torso height, so it reads as a body pushing up through the sod rather than a figure standing on it.

Do I need a spotlight?

No. The eyes light from inside the skull, so there is no fixture to bury, aim or hide on that side of the yard.

How does it go into the ground?

It sits on two slim stakes that press into lawn or bed soil. Angle them toward the street so the torso pitches forward instead of sitting flat.

Do the stakes come with it?

Yes, they are in the box. If your yard takes real wind, move up to a Ground-Lock kit.

Can it stay out on wet nights?

The shell is weather-cast for outdoor display, so a night of rain leaves it looking the same in the morning.

How does it store?

Pull the stakes, wipe the shell down and it goes back in the bin on November first.
