Animated, light-up, outdoor

Halfway out of the ground and already grinning about it

A 3.3-foot animated skeleton, waist up, arms planted like it is pushing out of the lawn. The eyes light red, the ribcage glows orange from the inside, and the finish is the mottled bone-gray of something that has been down there a while. Stake it into the front bed or at the foot of a tombstone and the walk to your door gets noticeably longer.

Red eyes, amber ribs

Two separate glows on one figure: pinpoint red in the sockets and a warm orange fill behind the ribcage, like something is still burning in there. It reads as lit from within, not as a flashlight taped to a skull.

Waist-up, so it fits where a full body won't

No legs to hide and nothing to stand up. It sits in a flower bed, beside the walkway, or at the foot of a tombstone in the graveyard scene, and the hands spread flat on the ground so you can pile mulch or leaves against the wrists to finish the dig.

Slightly scary, per the spec sheet

Open grin, red-lit sockets, no gore. Kids on the sidewalk slow down and look, then keep walking. Nobody's parent comes to the door about it.

Halloween night and the morning after

Ships from the US in 5 to 7 days, 3 to 4 on express. On the night, the red eyes pick up first from the street, then the orange chest as people get close, and the animation does the rest while you hand out candy.

Is 3.3 feet the whole figure?

Yes — 39.6 inches, waist up. There are no legs to hide and nothing to stand upright, which is why it fits a flower bed or the foot of a tombstone where a full body will not go.

How do I make it look buried instead of set down?

The hands spread flat on the ground on purpose. Pile mulch or leaves against the wrists and the base and the dig finishes itself. Bare lawn with the base showing is what turns a groundbreaker back into a prop.

My front bed is packed dirt. Will a stake go in?

Soak it an hour first or open the hole with a screwdriver. Dry late-October ground bends points instead of taking them. In stony beds, an anchor kit through the base holds better than anything you drive straight down.

Do I need to aim a light at it?

No. There are two separate glows built into the figure — pinpoint red in the sockets and a warm orange fill behind the ribcage — so it reads as lit from within rather than as a flashlight taped to a skull.

Is it too scary for the little ones?

Open grin, red-lit sockets, no gore. It sits at slightly scary: kids on the sidewalk slow down and look, then keep walking. Nobody's parent comes to the door about it.

When does it arrive?

Five to seven business days from the US, or three to four on express. Order with room before the block starts decorating — the last week of October is not when you want to be tracking a package.
