It's a trick, and a good one. The bats and the color drop are printed flat on quilted fabric — no raised texture, no hologram, nothing that lights up. Your eye reads the gradient as depth and the spiral as motion because that's what a vortex of warm-to-cool color does to a brain standing over it. Step back and it looks like a hole in your floor. Step on it and it's just a very good rug.

Got the 4-pack in 24in for the steps just inside our front entryway and it completely changed the space. The non-slip backing grips fine on our painted hardwood even when everyone tracked in from trick-or-treating, and the quilted fabric feels way sturdier than I expected for a printed rug. Half the neighborhood asked where I got it before the night was even over.
Bought the 2-pack at 40in for the living room in front of the fireplace and photos genuinely don't do the gradient justice — the orange fades into that dark purple-teal center so smoothly guests keep asking how a flat print pulls off that much depth. It's been down three weeks of daily foot traffic and the edge hasn't started curling or fraying at all.
Ordered the 8-pack in 20in to line our finished basement for the small haunted walk-through I run every October.
