The image fills the whole window, so from outside it reads as movement behind the glass, not a decoration stuck to it. The one thing that makes or breaks it: keep the room behind the screen dark. Lights on, and it looks like a screen. Lights off, and it looks like something is in the house.
It ships with a fitted projection screen, so a bedsheet isn't necessary. Tape or clip it flat inside the window frame, pull it tight so there are no creases, and the image lands clean.

What holds up
Skeptical about the 'keep the room dark' warning until I actually tried it with a lamp on. Lights off, it's completely convincing from the driveway. Lights on, it just looks like a TV. Worth reading that part before you set it up.
I was worried a compact projector would throw a small image. It fills our bay window edge to edge from about seven feet back. No dead space around the edges.
Mirroring from my phone is easy but it disconnected once mid-party and I had to reconnect. Loading a video straight off a USB stick has been rock solid since, so that's what I use now.
Went big with four across the whole front of the house. Neighbors two doors down stopped to ask what was going on before they'd even reached our driveway.

The included screen creased where it was folded in the box and I could see faint lines until I ironed it on low heat. Works fine now, but I wish it shipped rolled instead of folded.
