We put the 40 inch right inside our front entryway and it's already caused two grown adults to jump back before stepping over it. The quilted fabric feels way sturdier than I expected from a printed rug, and the rubber dots on the back keep it locked in place on our hardwood even during the after-school rush of kids running in and out. My husband wants to order the 8-pack now to line the whole entry hall.

The purple in the checkerboard reads a bit more muted in person than in the listing photos, closer to an eggplant than the bright purple I expected, so that was a small surprise when I unboxed the 32 inch. We used it in front of the fireplace for a Halloween party and it got compliments all night, cleanup was just a quick vacuum after.
