Is this actually 3D, or just a really good print?

Just a print — an extremely convincing one. The Wraithveil is a flat, quilted rug with a fixed illusion design baked into the fabric. No raised texture, no lights, no sound, no motor, no battery. The depth is all optical — your eyes do the falling, not the rug.

What sizes does it come in?

Seven: 16in/40cm, 20in/50cm, 24in/60cm, 32in/80cm, 40in/100cm, 47in/120cm, and 55in/140cm, all at 0.19in/0.5cm thick. Pick your size based on where it's going — entryway, hallway, or the whole living room floor.

How do I clean it?

Vacuum it regularly like any rug. For spills or spots, use a mild detergent and a damp cloth. It's not machine washable, so skip the washer — this one's spot-clean only.

Will it slide around on my floor?

No. The base is non-slip plastic with rubber grip dots, and the edge is locked so it won't curl up or fray at the corners. It sits flat on hardwood, tile, or carpet.

Can I put this outside, like on a porch or patio?

It's built for indoor use. We haven't tested it for outdoor exposure, so keep the abyss inside where it belongs.

How fast does it ship?

Standard delivery is 5-7 business days. Need it faster? Express shipping gets it there in 3-4 business days. Ships from our US supplier.

Can I order a few different rug designs together in one pack?

Not within one pack — each pack is the same design, just in the quantity you pick. The Wraithveil is part of our full illusion rug collection, though, so you can add other designs to your cart as separate products and they'll ship together.

What's it actually made of?

A quilted fabric surface on a plastic base, gripped by non-slip rubber dots underneath. The edge is locked so it holds its shape — no fraying, no curling, no falling apart after a season in the closet.

Guests literally jumped back

We grabbed the 8-count pack for our neighborhood Halloween party and lined the porch steps with them. The ghosts popping out of that black and olive checkerboard genuinely got a scream out of two separate trick-or-treaters. They're thin but the quilted top feels sturdy, not flimsy like the stuff from the seasonal store down the street. Already planning where to put the rest next year.

Customers ask about it constantly

I run a small shop and put the 4-pack at the front door and near the register. The non-slip backing has held up fine on our tile floor even with heavy foot traffic all month. The orange and purple pop against the checkerboard just enough to catch the eye without looking cheap.

Smaller than I pictured, but works out

Ordered the 16 inch in the 2-pack thinking it would cover most of my entryway, and it's noticeably more compact in person than it looked in the listing. Instead of one big mat I ended up laying both side by side right in front of the door and it actually reads better as a pair. Quality of the print and the locked edge are solid, I just should have sized up.

Flatter than expected, but the trick still lands

I pictured more texture on the ghosts given the '3D' name, but up close it's a printed quilted surface, no actual raised parts. From a few steps back in our break room the checkerboard illusion still works and coworkers do a double take. Learned it's not machine washable after a coffee spill, spot cleaned with a damp cloth and it mostly lifted, so we're keeping the 4-pack up through the season anyway.

Perfect entryway pair

Got the 2-pack for either side of our front door, just inside the entryway, and the purple and orange accents against the black and olive checkerboard look great under our hallway light at night. It's been down for a few weeks now and the edges haven't frayed or curled at all. Already looking at another design from their illusion rug collection for next year.

Held up well on our haunted walk-through, one small thing

Bought the 8-pack to line the hallway of our indoor haunted walk-through and the ghosts-out-of-the-hole effect looks incredible under string lights. After a few weekends of heavy foot traffic some of the rubber dots on the backing flattened out, though it's still gripping fine so far. For the price per unit I'm not worried about it and I'm already planning to order more.

My daughter loves her spooky corner

We picked the 2-pack in 24 inch for my daughter's room, one at the door and one by her bed. It's spooky enough that she thinks it's cool but not so intense that it gives her nightmares, which was exactly what we wanted for a 7 year old. The per-unit price on that pack size made it an easy yes.

Feels built to last, not thrown away in November

Put the 4-pack down in our garage for the haunted display and it's noticeably sturdier than the disposable stuff we used to get at the seasonal Halloween store. The quilted top vacuums clean easily and the black in the checkerboard still looks deep and rich after weeks of dust. This is going right back into the bins for next year instead of the trash.
