Better than the store-bought mats
Bought the 8-unit pack at 24 inches and lined them up like stepping stones down our front hallway leading up to the door. It's way sturdier than the foam mats we used to grab from the seasonal Halloween stores, which would crack or slide by week two — these stayed put thanks to the rubber dots on the back. Neighbors kept asking where we got the 'popping skeleton' rug when they came inside, and the price for all 8 worked out cheaper than what we used to spend replacing stuff every October.

Back in the box in minutes
Pulled all ten out by hand after the party, wiped the dirt off with a rag, and they laid flat in the original box. Nothing to assemble, so there are no small parts to lose.

We put the 24 inch just inside our front door and I swear every family that came through on Halloween night stopped to look at the mummy hand before ringing the bell. Stops people in their tracks
We got the 4-pack in the 32 inch size and put two right inside our front entryway, then gave the other two to my neighbor since she loved the look for her own hallway. The skeleton rising up with its arms open looks like it's actually popping out of the checkerboard the first time you see it — my husband thought I'd bought something with lights built in. At least a dozen trick-or-treaters stopped just inside the door to take a picture standing on it, and after three weekends of foot traffic the edges are still flat with zero curling.

The trick-or-treaters slow down at it
Put two on either side of the walk. Kids stop at the lantern on the way up and again on the way down. My daughter calls it the ghost fountain, which is honestly a better name than mine.

The wrist and disc actually move
The disc with the silver screw at the base spins the stake against the arm, and the wrist bends on top of that. I set three hands clawing toward the door and two reaching flat at the grass.

Staggered the hands both ways
