One day to lay flat, then perfect

Bought the 2-pack for the kitchen entrance and the mudroom. Because it ships rolled up, the edges had a slight curl for the first full day - I stacked a couple of books on the corners overnight and it was completely flat after that. Once it settled, the print looks great and my kids flat-out refuse to step on the 'graves' part, which is exactly the reaction I wanted. Only docking a star because a heads-up about the rolling in the listing would've saved me a minute of panic.

The eyes carry the whole porch

We turned off our porch light entirely. Her eyes and the staff are the only light out there now, and it reads better than any spotlight we tried before.

Small smell out of the box, otherwise perfect

Ordered the 4-pack for the stairs leading up to our attic display and the print itself is genuinely unsettling in the best way. My only complaint is there was a faint plastic smell when I first unrolled them, but it was completely gone after leaving them flat overnight. No fraying on the edges even after my dog walks across them every day.

One corner arrived a little creased, otherwise great

Ordered the 8-pack in 16in as party favors for our block's Halloween-slash-Christmas potluck, and one of the eight had a slight crease along the locked edge from shipping. Set a couple of heavy books on it overnight and it laid completely flat by the next morning, so no real issue. The kids at the party kept arguing over who found the present in the skeleton's hand first, which tells you the design lands.

Arrived curled, flattened out fine

Bought the 8-pack in the 16in size to line the hallway of my Halloween decor shop. They came a little curled at the corners from being rolled for shipping, so I weighed the corners down with some books overnight and they laid completely flat after that. Once flat, the orange against the dark stone print looks even richer than it did in the photos.

One rug arrived creased, flattened out fine

Ordered the 8-pack in 20in to line our finished basement for the small haunted walk-through I run every October. One rug had a fold crease from being shipped folded, but it relaxed flat on its own after about a day on the floor under some string lights. All eight lined up together look incredible, so I'm not knocking off more than a star for something that fixed itself.

Edge curled the first week, flattened out fine

Ordered the 2-pack, one for our front door and one for my sister since she loved the picture I sent her. The only issue was the very edge on mine curled up slightly during the first humid week, but after a few days of foot traffic and a night flat under a bookshelf leg it settled down and hasn't moved since. My teenagers, who act too cool for Halloween decorations, admitted the arms-open skeleton on the striped board genuinely looks 3D.

The eyes do not sit still

I expected two lights. The bright point inside each eye actually moves around, so the face keeps working after you have already looked at it. That is the part people bring up.

Held up through a bad week of rain

We got three straight days of rain right after I put it out and it kept lighting every night. It did stay dimmer than usual for a couple of evenings after, which makes sense given it charges off the sun.

It changes the whole street

Twelve feet does not sound like much until it is standing next to your roofline. Cars slow down. Two people knocked to ask where we got it.

Bigger than I expected, in a good way

Measured my porch before I ordered and it still surprised me once it was up — the head alone is taller than my front door. Neighbors two doors down asked about it before any other decorations went up.

The rocking is what sells it

I expected an arm to move. The whole body leans side to side while the arms go, so it reads like something shifting its weight instead of a prop with one motor in it.

The masks are the whole thing

Standing still they just look like two grey figures. Then the sensor catches someone and the arms swing out and both masks come down at once. Nobody on our block was ready for it.

Brought it in for the storm and it was fine

We got a rough night of wind and rain right after I set these up and I pulled them in like the listing suggests. Ten minutes to replant the next morning and no damage at all.

Bought the 4-pack for the hallway, worth every penny

Got the 4-unit pack in the 20 inch size and lined our hallway leading to the garage 'haunted maze' for the neighborhood kids' party. Every parent asked where we got it because it actually looks like something is buried under the floor, not just a flat sticker. The quilted texture feels solid, not like the thin mats we used last year, and the backing hasn't shifted once on our hardwood.

Customers ask about it constantly

I run a small shop and put the 4-pack at the front door and near the register. The non-slip backing has held up fine on our tile floor even with heavy foot traffic all month. The orange and purple pop against the checkerboard just enough to catch the eye without looking cheap.

Posed it reaching over the walkway

Set the arms reaching toward the front path instead of straight out and it completely changes the read — trick-or-treaters actually stop before walking under it. Shipped fast too.

Perfect for our community haunted house

We run a community haunted house walkthrough every October and needed something durable enough to survive foot traffic for weeks, and the 4-pack held up perfectly laid across the main hallway leading into the maze. Kids stop dead when they see the spider under a flashlight beam, and the quilted surface hasn't frayed at the edges even after being stepped on a few hundred times. Express shipping got all four to us in under four days, which saved opening weekend.

Turned our whole downstairs hallway into a talking point

Went with the 8-pack and lined the entire hall so it reads like one continuous scene instead of separate rugs. My mother-in-law legitimately paused before walking over it. It's thicker and sturdier than the seasonal mats we've bought at drugstores in past years, and the edges haven't curled or frayed after almost three weeks of guests coming through.

Basement game room upgrade

Bought the 8-pack and covered most of our basement floor for a haunted game room theme. My son's friends kept stepping around the middle one because the optical illusion messes with your depth perception, which is exactly the reaction we wanted. The quilted surface is soft enough that nobody minds sitting on it either.

Halloween party MVP

Got the 8-pack for our annual Halloween party and set them all around the house as little photo-op stations — the tiny pumpkins tucked around the skull and the black, white and gray checkerboard base with the starry flecks look incredible under our string lights in the front rooms. Even after three weekends of setup, teardown, and storage, the edges haven't frayed or curled at all. My wife now wants one in the dining room for the whole season instead of just party night. Worth every penny of the $199.

Move it to full sun and it changes

First spot I picked was under the maple and it was faint by ten at night. Moved it out to the open part of the lawn and it went all evening. Not a fault with the stake, just something nobody tells you - put it where the sun actually lands.

Stops traffic, literally

Cars slow down on our street now. Thirteen feet sounds big on paper but it is bigger in person — it clears our roofline by a couple feet. Worth clearing the whole side yard for it instead of trying to fit it by the door.

Our office lobby has never gotten more comments

Got the 8-unit pack for our real estate office - lobby, breakroom, and the hallway outside my desk. Clients keep asking where we found it, and one of our agents won't walk straight over the one by her desk because the ghosts get her every time. Two weeks of foot traffic and it hasn't budged thanks to the non-slip backing, and the quilted texture hides scuffs way better than I expected.
