Our dog won't walk a straight line near it
Set the 2-pack at the base of our stairs and our dog genuinely walks around it like it's a real object, which cracks up everyone who visits. Standard shipping actually beat the estimate and showed up in about 6 business days, plenty of time before our party. Wiped it down once with a damp cloth and it still looks brand new.

Kids' playroom favorite
We put the 2-pack in the playroom and my 7-year-old genuinely believes the alien is going to grab her ankle if she stands on the wrong spot. The galaxy border ties the whole room together with our other decorations. Feels sturdier than I expected for something this thin, and it hasn't slid an inch on the hardwood.

Trunk-or-Treat hit, one small cleanup
We used four rugs from the 8-pack to line our entryway and front hallway for trick-or-treaters and party guests all night, and other parents kept asking where we got them when they came in to grab their kids. After a kid dropped a juice box on one, I spot-cleaned it with mild dish soap and a damp cloth like the care instructions say, and it came out fine, just took a little extra scrubbing on the white part of the checkerboard. Nothing a bit of elbow grease couldn't fix. Ordering the 4-pack next for the playroom since these clearly aren't going anywhere.

Kids' Halloween party test: passed
Picked up the 2-pack for my daughter's Halloween party and laid them at the entrance to the playroom. Half the guests hopped over the pumpkins like they were real holes before realizing it was flat fabric under their feet - even a couple of the parents did a double take. Wiped it clean with a damp cloth after twelve kids tracked through and it looked brand new. Already eyeing another design from their rug collection for next year.

Perfect for the kids' bathroom
Got the 2-pack and put one in each kid's bathroom for the whole month of October. The rubber dots on the back keep it totally in place on our tile floor even with wet feet running around. My youngest actually asked me to move his to his bedroom doorway instead because he likes being spooked by it every morning.

The tall one wins the block
Twelve feet is a different category. Assembly took two of us about twenty minutes and the pole sections seat firmly.

Went big and it paid off
Sized up to the 55in from the 4-pack option and laid it just inside our front entry, right where it was visible through the glass door for the neighborhood Halloween walk. Shipped in about 6 days like the listing said, and the scale of the skeleton-Santa design at that size is honestly kind of unreal up close. Half the street stopped to take pictures through the door before they even got to the actual decorations.

Made our Halloween party
We got the 4-pack at 24in, one in the living room and one in the front hallway for the party. People were crouching down taking pictures of it like a skeleton was actually climbing out of a lava pit in our floor. After a night of muddy shoes I just vacuumed it and wiped it down with a damp cloth and mild dish soap, came out looking new.

Gorgeous design, thinner underfoot than I pictured
Went with the 55in as a centerpiece for our entryway and the artwork itself is genuinely striking, but at about half a centimeter thick it felt more like a heavy placemat than a cushioned rug the first few days, and it took a bit of walking on it before it sat fully flat. Once it settled in it's been fine and I liked the print enough that I already ordered the 4-pack of a different design from their collection for the kids' rooms.

Got two, put one at each door
Front and back. They do not talk to each other or anything, they just each go off when someone comes near, which is honestly better — you get startled twice in one night. Worth it at the two pack price.

Smaller than I pictured, but found the right spot
I ordered the 20 inch size expecting it to fill more of my hallway, and honestly it read bigger in the listing photos than it does in person, so I was disappointed at first. Instead of returning it I moved it to our half bath by the sink, and it actually works better there — the orange, green, and purple checkerboard suits the small space more than a big hallway runner would have anyway. I've already ordered the 47 inch for the living room now that I know the scale in person, just wish I'd sized up the first time.

Better in person
The shroud looks cheap in no photo I took, and expensive in person. Weird but true. Five minutes to set.

Survived a genuinely windy week
We had two nights of 20-plus mph gusts and it just swayed a little at the neck, nothing alarming. Staked the base extra with our own ground stakes since it did not come with any, and it has not budged since.

My kids' friends refuse to come in
Which is the review, honestly. The sound set is genuinely unsettling without being gory.

Stakes and sandbags, not just stakes
Every inflatable I've owned before shipped with stakes and nothing else. This one has tie-down ropes and sandbags too, and it hasn't leaned once.

The cauldron detail sells it
It is a small thing but her hand actually sits inside the cauldron rim and the smoke curls right up past her fingers. Kids kept asking what was actually in there.

The eyes are unsettling in the best way
They actually shift and blink, they're not just glowing dots. My kids won't walk past it after dark without checking if it's looking at them.

Posed the arms once and it just stayed
Bent one arm out over the walkway and turned the head toward the street. It held the pose through wind and two weeks of rain, no sagging.

The flying witch everyone photographs
Mounted on the pole she really does read as hovering. People stop and take pictures every single night.

One piece needed a firm push to seat right
The torso-to-base joint didn't want to click in at first and I thought I'd gotten a bad part. Turned out it just needed more force than I expected — once it seated it's been solid, but that first ten minutes was frustrating.

Five minutes and no cord
Pushed it into the flower bed and that was the whole setup. No extension cord across the lawn, which is the thing I hated about the lights I had before - one of them killed a timer every time it rained.
Priya N. · Aug 24, 2026
The timer means I never touch it
Set it the first evening and it has come on by itself every night since. I am not home at dusk most days and I was tired of decorations that only worked when someone remembered to flip them on. Six hours and it shuts itself off.

The cackle gets everyone
Sound trigger catches trick-or-treaters at exactly the right distance. My teenager pretended not to jump. He jumped.
Renee C. · Aug 24, 2026
You can see it from the corner
Ours faces the street. Neighbours two houses down asked about it before they had walked past. The eyes read from that far; the ribs do not, which is fine.
